Gina Hiraizumi is quickly becoming one of the most sought after Asian-American ingenues of our time. She is the love interest of JASON SCOTT LEE (star of “DRAGON: BRUCE LEE STORY”) in the WWII feature, “ONLY THE BRAVE” as 1939 beauty queen, "Eleanor Takase."  This period piece also stars TAMLYN TOMITA (”JOY LUCK CLUB”) and the late PAT MORITA (”KARATE KID 2”) in his final film. She also played the lead love interest in Academy Award® winning director, CHRIS TASHIMA’s period piece, the Japanese-American internment camp film, “DAY OF INDEPENDENCE.”   LARENZ TATE (star of “WHY DO FOOLS FALL IN LOVE” with HALLE BERRY) hand-picked Gina to star in the urban comedy, “THE HOT SPOT” -- his directorial debut to date. No stranger to the urban culture, Gina ignites as "Venus" a street-wise girl with hip-hop flavor. Gina’s next release is an international feature, “LBC: SMILE NOW CRY LATER” by renowned Cambodian director, SAM LORN. This upcoming arthouse indie marks her first starring role in a single billing opener. The director quotes Gina as, “A bonafide star. An exceptional talent, with range, depth and maturity far beyond her years.” The film releases in 2009.

Adding to a plethora of television and film credits, Gina’s lifelong dream of a singing career is now a reality, having trained at the prestigious JUILLIARD SCHOOL in New York City. She has performed the national anthem at the MADISON SQUARE GARDEN and the STAPLES CENTER - most commonly known as the home to the Los Angeles Lakers. Since then, she has completed her music video for her first single for Japan, “Unmei No Ai” (translated: “Destiny”). Her video once again stars Hawaiian heartthrob, JASON SCOTT LEE in a celebrity cameo.

Gina was born and raised in Torrance, California and is the oldest of three girls. She is fluent in English/Japanese, a classically trained pianist, and was the MVP of her high school basketball team as a starting point guard. She was nominated by her senior graduating class in the title of, “Most Likely to be Rich and Famous” – and rightly so.

With a growing fanbase that spans Japan, Hawaii and the Asian-American market in the states, Gina is regarded a role model to the Asian-American youth. She holds a very strong passion for children’s charities, and is becoming a popular request for emceeing various events. At the 2006 CHAMPION OF CHILDREN AWARDS in Los Angeles, Gina’s appearance with actress JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT and actor RICHARD LEWIS generated $1.8 million for the charity -- and press coverage was published in the 2006 Oscars edition of the Los Angeles Times. Gina is also a devout Christian, and hopes to also release a gospel record in the future.

日本、ハワイ、アジア・アメリカ社会を中心にファンが増加する中で、アジア・アメリカ人の子供達の お手本にもなっているジーナは、幼児慈善活動に対しても情熱を持っており、様々なイベントを行っています。 ロサンゼルスで開催された児童授賞式で、女優のジェニファー・ラヴ・へウィット（JENNIFER LOVE HEWITT） と男優のリチャード・レウィス（RICHARD LEWIS）と一緒に、180万ドル の基金を集めた事が2006年の ロサンゼルス新聞オスカー版に掲載されました。また、彼女は敬虔なキリスト教徒でもあり、近い将来 ゴスペルのレコードも出したいと願っています。
